KYA Customized Galvanized Staple Wire Band is a semi-finished wire material designed for manufacturers producing industrial and office staples. Multiple flattened steel wires are arranged into a continuous band for feeding into staple manufacturing equipment.
Available configurations include galvanized steel and copper-coated steel wire bands with different width, thickness, wires-per-band and tensile-strength combinations. Stainless steel material options are also available according to production requirements.
Standard listed specifications range from 0.41 × 0.51 mm × 209 wires to 1.37 × 1.59 mm × 72 wires, with tensile-strength ranges from 540 to 1050 N/mm². The wire band is supplied on a wooden reel for industrial handling and production feeding.

Staple wire band is an intermediate material used in staple manufacturing. Individual steel wires are processed to the required cross section, aligned in parallel and held together as a continuous band before being supplied to staple-making equipment.
During production, the wire band is fed into suitable forming equipment, where the material is separated, cut and formed into finished staples. Wire dimensions, tensile strength, surface treatment and the number of wires in each band should therefore match the intended staple specification and production equipment.
| Item No. | Tensile Strength (N/mm²) | Width × Thickness × Pcs | Coating | Packaging |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | 950–1050 | 0.58 mm × 0.75 mm × 167 | Galvanized | Wooden Reel |
| 02 | 950–1050 | 0.65 mm × 0.95 mm × 125 | Galvanized | Wooden Reel |
| 03 | 950–1050 | 1.00 mm × 1.25 mm × 100 | Galvanized | Wooden Reel |
| 04 | 950–1050 | 1.37 mm × 1.59 mm × 72 | Galvanized | Wooden Reel |
| 05 | 950–1050 | 0.41 mm × 0.51 mm × 209 | Galvanized | Wooden Reel |
| 06 | 540–750 | 0.58 mm × 0.75 mm × 167 | Copper-Coated | Wooden Reel |
| 07 | 540–750 | 0.58 mm × 0.75 mm × 167 | Copper-Coated | Wooden Reel |
The table shows the standard configurations listed for this product range. When replacing an existing wire band, compare the actual wire width, thickness, wires per band, tensile strength and coating rather than selecting only by the general product name.
The size designation describes the nominal cross section of each flattened wire together with the number of parallel wires assembled into the band.
| Parameter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Width | Nominal width of the individual flattened wire. |
| Thickness | Nominal thickness of the individual flattened wire. |
| Pcs | Number of individual wires arranged across the wire band. |
For example, 0.58 × 0.75 × 167 identifies a wire-band configuration listed as 0.58 mm × 0.75 mm with 167 individual wires in the band.
When comparing specifications from different suppliers, confirm the dimensional drawing because the order used to describe wire width and thickness may differ between technical documents.
The galvanized configurations listed on this page have tensile-strength ranges of 950–1050 N/mm². The zinc-coated surface provides a silver-colored finish and corrosion protection for the wire before it is formed into finished staples.
The listed copper-coated configurations use 0.58 × 0.75 mm × 167 wires with a tensile-strength range of 540–750 N/mm². Select the coating and mechanical properties according to the required finished staple and manufacturing process.
Multiple wire dimensions: Different width, thickness and wires-per-band combinations are available for different staple manufacturing requirements.
Specified tensile strength: Listed configurations cover 540–1050 N/mm² depending on coating and wire-band specification.
Galvanized and copper-coated options: Select the surface treatment according to the finished fastener and production requirement.
Wooden reel packing: The listed wire-band configurations are supplied on wooden reels for industrial handling.
Corrugated cardboard separation: Wire-band layers are separated to provide additional protection during handling and transportation.
Custom configurations: Dimensions, tensile strength, material, coating and packaging can be discussed according to the customer's production requirement.
KYA staple wire band is supplied as production material for professional fastener manufacturers. The correct configuration depends on the wire cross section, mechanical properties and finished fastener required by the production line.

Send Your Wire Band Requirements
The standard configurations listed on this page are packed on wooden reels. Corrugated cardboard is used between wire-band layers to increase protection against pressure during storage, handling and transportation.
For bulk orders, buyers can provide specific reel, labeling or outer-packaging requirements for confirmation before production.
Staple wire band is a semi-finished material used by fastener manufacturers to produce industrial staples, office staples and other compatible formed-wire fasteners.
The listed galvanized configurations include 0.58 × 0.75 × 167, 0.65 × 0.95 × 125, 1.00 × 1.25 × 100, 1.37 × 1.59 × 72 and 0.41 × 0.51 × 209.
The galvanized configurations listed on this page have a tensile-strength range of 950–1050 N/mm². The listed copper-coated configuration has a range of 540–750 N/mm².
On this product specification, the figures represent width × thickness × number of wires. The 167 therefore refers to the number of individual wires arranged in the band.
Yes. Both galvanized and copper-coated configurations are listed. The dimensions and tensile strength should be selected according to the intended production requirement rather than by coating alone.
