Use the specified operating-pressure range and confirm that the compressor, hose, fittings and air supply are suitable for the tool. Fastener dimensions should also be checked before production use.
The CN130 uses 15° wire-collated coil nails. Nail compatibility depends on the complete fastener geometry rather than nail length alone.
| Fastener Feature | CN130 Range |
|---|---|
| Collation Angle | 15° |
| Collation | Wire Welded Coil |
| Length | 90–130mm |
| Shank Diameter | 3.1–3.8mm |
| Head Diameter | 6.8–8.0mm |
| Shank Styles | Smooth, Ring, Screw |
Smooth-shank nails are commonly selected for general pallet, crate and packaging applications where the specified smooth fastener provides sufficient holding performance.
Ring-shank nails use annular deformations to increase engagement with wood fibers. Actual withdrawal resistance depends on timber species, moisture, penetration depth and ring geometry.
Screw-shank nails have a twisted profile and are used in selected pallet and timber applications where increased mechanical engagement is required.
| Tool Class | Typical Maximum Nail Length | General Use |

Manufactured timber assemblies requiring long wire-collated coil nails
The CN130 is intended for high-load pallet fastening where long, heavy-gauge coil nails are required. The 90–130mm fastener range allows buyers to match nail length to deck boards, stringers, blocks and other pallet components.
Select the shank style and fastener dimensions according to the timber species, joint construction and required pallet specification. Do not select a nail solely by maximum tool capacity.
Large crates and export packaging can require long nails through thick timber sections. The CN130's 130mm maximum nail length makes it suitable for heavy packaging assemblies where shorter production nailers do not provide sufficient penetration.
Fastener selection should consider timber thickness, required penetration, shank design and the final packaging specification.
The CN130 has a listed operating-pressure range of 115–145 psi and a 3/8-inch NPT air inlet. Because this is a large industrial nailer, the air supply must provide sufficient pressure and flow throughout repeated production cycles.
Use suitable hoses and fittings and follow the tool's operating instructions. Do not exceed the specified operating pressure.

The listed fastener range is 90–130mm / 3-1/2"–5-1/8".
The listed shank-diameter range is approximately 3.1–3.8mm / 0.122"–0.150".
KYA lists a nail-head diameter range of approximately 6.8–8.0mm / 0.267"–0.314".
Yes. The CN130 is designed for 15° wire-collated coil nails within the specified diameter and length ranges.
Yes. The listed compatible shank styles include smooth, ring and screw shanks, provided the complete nail dimensions fit the tool specification.
Yes, screw-shank wire-collated coil nails can be used when the length, head and shank dimensions fall within the CN130 specification.
The current KYA specification lists approximately 120–225 nails, depending on the nail and coil configuration.
The KYA CN130 is listed for 115–145 psi operating pressure.
The current product specification lists a 3/8-inch NPT air inlet.
The listed tool weight is approximately 6.51kg.
The tool can be used for pallet production where the selected 15° coil nail meets the pallet design and fastener requirements. If a pallet standard specifies an approved nail or certified fastener configuration, follow that requirement separately.
It is designed for heavy industrial timber fastening, but penetration depends on wood density, nail diameter, nail length, shank type, air pressure and compressor performance. Test the actual timber and fastener combination before production.
The CN130 belongs to a larger fastener class and accepts nails up to 130mm. Actual driving performance should be evaluated from the complete tool specification rather than assuming a fixed percentage increase over another model.
Common causes include a worn or damaged driver, worn driver guide, misalignment, damaged guide cover or incorrect fastener dimensions.
Check the air supply, operating pressure, lubrication, piston seals, head-valve seals and nose for contamination or wear.
Provide the application, nail length, nail diameter, shank type, required tool quantity, production volume and destination market.
