The F32F uses straight 18GA F Series brad nails. KYA's F Series format uses a nominal wire width of approximately 1.25mm, thickness of approximately 1.00mm and a small slight T-head of approximately 2.00mm.
The wider KYA F Series fastener family includes lengths beyond 32mm, but the F32F tool itself is specified for approximately F10 through F32. Do not load longer F35, F38, F40, F50 or F57 brads into this tool unless a different tool specification explicitly permits them.

The F32F drives compatible F Series brads from approximately 10mm / 3/8 inch to 32mm / 1-1/4 inches. This shorter nail range is suitable for thin trim, cabinet components, picture-frame work and other light finish applications.
Nail length should be selected according to the thickness of the attached component and the receiving substrate. Excessive nail length can penetrate through thin workpieces, while insufficient penetration can reduce holding performance.
| Brad Reference | Length | Approx. Inch |
|---|---|---|
| F/10 | 10mm | 3/8" |
| F/13 | 13mm | 1/2" |
| F/15 | 15mm | 5/8" |
| F/16 | 16mm | 5/8" |
| F/19 | 19mm | 3/4" |
| F/20 | 20mm | 13/16" |
| F/22 | 22mm | 7/8" |
| F/25 | 25mm | 1" |
| F/28 | 28mm | 1-1/8" |
| F/30 | 30mm | 1-3/16" |
| F/32 | 32mm | 1-1/4" |
Available lengths and packaging should be confirmed for the current production batch when ordering tools and brads together.
18GA brad nails have a smaller profile than heavier 16GA or 15GA finish nails. The small slight T-head helps reduce the visible fastening mark in cabinet trim, small molding, decorative components and picture-frame work.
Brad nails still leave an entry point and should not be described as completely invisible. Surface appearance depends on nail depth, wood species, coating, grain direction and finishing method.
The F32F magazine holds approximately 100 compatible brad nails per load, matching the common 100-nail strip format used by KYA F Series brads.
Use straight, correctly collated strips and keep the magazine clean. Bent brads, damaged adhesive collation or incorrect fastener dimensions can cause feeding problems.
Tool-free depth control allows the operator to adjust how far the brad is driven into different wood and trim materials without disassembling the tool.
Final nail depth also depends on air pressure, nail length and substrate density. Test the setting on an off-cut before fastening visible finished surfaces.
The open-nose design provides access to the driver and fastener path when a brad becomes jammed, simplifying routine clearing.
Disconnect the compressed-air supply before opening the nose, removing jammed fasteners or servicing the nailer.
The F32F uses an aluminum body and weighs approximately 1.40kg / 3.08lbs. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for bench work, cabinetry and repetitive light finish fastening.
Operator comfort during extended use also depends on hose routing, workpiece position, fastening frequency and workstation height.
KYA lists an operating pressure range of approximately 60–100 PSI / 4–7 bar for the F32F.
Use the lowest pressure that consistently seats the selected brad to the required depth. Excessive pressure can overdrive the nail or mark softer trim materials.
The F32F is suitable for selected cabinet trim, drawer components, decorative strips, small face-frame components and other light cabinet work where 10–32mm 18GA brads provide sufficient penetration.
Brad nails are commonly used to hold trim and small wood components during assembly, but highly loaded cabinet joints should use the joint construction and fastener system required by the design.
The 18GA brad format is well suited to small molding, beading, decorative strips and other finish components where a smaller nail head is preferred.
Because the F32F has a maximum brad length of 32mm / 1-1/4", thicker crown molding, large baseboards or installations requiring deeper penetration may require a longer-capacity brad nailer or a heavier finish nailer.
Picture-frame assembly and backing are suitable applications where the selected 18GA brad length matches the frame section and substrate.
Maintain adequate edge distance on narrow or brittle wood components and test the grain orientation to reduce the risk of splitting.
The F32F can be used for selected furniture trim, light panels, decorative components, backing pieces and temporary positioning during furniture assembly.
It should not be treated as a substitute for structural furniture fasteners where the joint carries significant loads or repeated movement.
Short 18GA brads are useful for decorative wood components, small boxes, display items, wooden ornaments and similar light-duty assemblies where a relatively small fastening mark is desirable.
For very thin or brittle materials, test nail length and pressure before production to reduce the risk of breakthrough or splitting.

The application image shows general pneumatic fastening uses. Select the F32F only where its 18GA F Series brads and 10–32mm working range are appropriate for the component being fastened.
