A coil nail is not defined by length alone. To select a compatible coil nail, match all seven specifications: shank diameter, nail length, head diameter, head style, shank type, collation type and collation angle.

A .120-inch diameter does not automatically identify a roofing nail. A .120-inch framing nail normally has a smaller head and a different length range than a .120-inch roofing nail.
